Power-Bolts™
This is an example of a Mechanical Anchor. We carry a variety of conventional drilling and anchoring systems, each of which is different in its method of taking the applied load and transferring it through an anchor to the base material. Each type is designed for a specific application. Among these types are Cast-In-Place, Drilled In, Friction, Clamping, Compression, Undercut and Bonded Anchors.
The heavy duty Power-BoltŪ™ is a sleeve style undercut anchor which is vibration resistant and removable. It uses a regular grade 5 hex head bolt for strength. Available with a finished hex head or flat head with a hex key insert, they can be used in concrete, block, brick, or stone. Stocked in diameters from 1/4" to 3/4" and lengths from 1 3/4" to 8 1/4".

Designed for fail safe fastening, the lateral gripping forces of the hex head bolt reduce the possibility of edge breakout. Zinc plated to ASTM B-633 specifications, with grades 304 and 316 stainless steel available upon request. Stocked in diameters 1/4" to 1 1/2" and lengths from 1 3/4" to 12".
The Set-Bolt is a one piece, stud style anchor with an external bottom-bearing expansion plug. It is available in carbon steel for use in concrete, stone and solid masonry units. Stocked in diameters from 1/4" to 1/2" and lengths from 1 3/4" to 5 1/4 ".
These sleeve type hollow wall anchors are designed for use in base materials such as plaster, wallboard, concrete block, or hollow tile with a sheet metal screw. Stocked in sizes from
1/8" to 1/4". Available in extra short to extra long.
For light duty fastening in concrete, brick, and stone, these anchors are manufactured from ductile plastic. Designed for use with a sheet metal, wood or lag screw. Stocked in diameters from #4 to #14 and lengths from 3/4" to 3".
These plastic anchors are designed for use with lightweight fixtures and feature a collar. For use in concrete, block, tile, wallboard, and brick with a sheet metal, wood or lag screw. Stocked in diameters from #6 to #14 and lengths from 3/4" to 1 1/2".
A one-piece, inexpensive drive anchor for use in hollow gypsum wallboard. When drove into wall and using a #6 or #8 screw the 'legs' of the anchor expand behind the wall to create holding power for light to medium loads. If removed, leaves only a small slit versus larger holes of other types of anchors.
Pre-assembled and easy to install, these precision cast, calking-type machine screw anchors are designed for use in concrete, brick or stone. Made from lead and zinc, for use with a machine screw or bolt. Available in diameters from #6 to 3/4". 
Made of zinc plated steel (ASTM B-633), these heavy duty bolt style anchors are designed for use in concrete with a machine screw, bolt or threaded rod. They are available in a self drilling version and in an external plug drop-in version. As the anchor body is driven over the steel expander cone, slots in the body allow it to expand against the wall of the anchor hole, providing high load capacities. Tapered ridges provide added resistance to higher tension loads. Stocked in sizes from 1/4" to 7/8".
